What We Do
Our History
The organization was started as a partnership between the towns' General Assistance offices and local volunteers, who took on the project of creating a completely confidential process that allows each child to make their own wishlist of items. This personal touch distinguishes us from other very worthy organizations.
Our Mission
We are all anonymous volunteers who take pride in the work we do to ensure that no child in our three towns will ever go without at the holidays. We are committed to helping every family and child who needs us, regardless of faith tradition. Our kids range in age from newborn to Senior in High School.
How It Works

Trees go up
Our season starts just before Thanksgiving, when we place our trees in locations such as town libraries, town halls, local gyms, and more. The trees are hung with tags — each child will have several tags with specific wishes.

Pick a tag
Select a tag from one of our trees. You may feel free to collect more than one tag! You may also make donations via check or Venmo — see our Contact Us page for details.

Shop for the gift
Shop for the item on the tag. Tags include details such as clothing sizes or specific toy names to eliminate the guesswork.

Return the gift
Return the gift unwrapped by our deadline to the location where you took the tag. Each location will have a designated spot where gifts are collected.

Elves take it from here
The trees are in place for about two weeks. After that, our local volunteers make sure any missing gifts are purchased and that everything is distributed to families well ahead of the holidays.
